Love your answers. My dad had a shoe repair shop. One of the things I learned about a spiky heel shoes is that the shank of a good pair is as strong as a good pair of workbooks. The well-made ones will use the same size metal (they go by nail size) as a work boot but it will be compacted into a smaller space so it actually provides more support. That is one reason why the arch part can be very uncomfortable unless they are very padded. Since we moved to Florida I try to avoid shoes that require wearing socks. One less thing I have to match.
I hate shoes and socks. In the winter, I am in the house constantly with just socks on (and typically mismatched ones at that). In the summer its barefoot or sometimes some kind of flip flop.
Rich Mullins quit wearing shoes.
Rich Mullins didn’t have my boss as a boss 🙂
